Rustic Vs Overlay

If you are remodeling your area, you make notice some characters in your slab from the pervious material that was placed beforehand such as carpet, tile, tackstrip, or wood. When we go to put material over there is a few things you should know. If stain was put directly over that slab you will see characteristics and imperfections in the slab through the stain, we call this the "rustic" way. It is beautiful in its own way and some people absolutely love it! The other way would be to have a overlay which provides a brand new surface on top of the slab and will hide all those ugly imperfections if not wanted! This is what we call the "Magazine" look!
